Pipeline for underground carbon dioxide storage |

I was wondering whether one should use What are the advantages / disadvantages of both materials particularly for CO2 pipeline and additionals like pumps and field joints. Low weight is not a major issue, I am mainly interested in carbon dioxide, water, carbonic acid chemical or corrosion kinetics and subsequent or simultaneous chemicals permeation rates.
Secondly, is there any insight in the formation of CO2 hydrates, due to presence of water /moisture, and subsequent chemical and diffusion, permeation impact on unsatureated polyester frp or stainless steel pipes fpr CO2? I would like to learn more on hydrate formation and the use of Methanol in these circumstances.
Danke,
- glass fibre reinforced epoxy / unsaturated polyester or
- coated / stainless steel
for carbon dioxide (co2) pipeline applications.
