Permeation H2S in Epoxy Reinforced Fiber |
Posting by Cristian Guerrero on June 27, 2008 at 04:18:14.
I am working for an oil company and the proyect I have is to select the material for a multi phase fluid (oil+water+gas). On the present conditions we have 15000 ppm Hydrogen Sulphide (H2S). And the preassure proposed for the pipe is 17 bar.
The selected material is Epoxy Reinforced Fiber, but some people has concerns about Hydrogen Sulfide diffusion permeation to the enviroment.
Do you have the permeation coeficient (the fluid temperature is about 50 degrees Celcious)? Have you some advice to give me on the topic?
